Digital Badges in Professional Learning

Digital Badges in Professional Learning

Technology can be a powerful tool to help us educate our students and prepare them to be future ready.  Our students must be familiar with technology, as they will be utilizing it in every facet of their lives.  Therefore, it is our goal to integrate technology into our curriculum when appropriate.

Our Digital Learning website allows us to deliver personalized Professional Development to teachers on technology applications they choose to explore at their own pace.  Teachers will earn digital badges signifying they have successfully applied what they learned in their instruction.

The available technology will only continue to increase.  For this reason, our teachers must be at ease teaching in a digital age environment.

How Does it Work?

Register with Credly to initiate your participation in the Badges program.  After registering, badges are earned by selecting a tool and successfully integrating it within your instruction.  Your digital learning can be displayed through Credly, and can also be pushed out to social networks, or displayed on your blog or website.
